The Chronicles Of Gildas is an Epic poem in twenty parts. Gildas is a Celtic Warrior, his adventure begins in approximately 90 B.C. on the day of his wedding to the beautiful Rowena, the Picts raid his village and she is taken. Whilst attempting to rescue her, Rowena is murdered and Gildas is turned vampyre. Thus begins the story of a love that will not die though all the odds are stacked against it. Gildas uses his immortality to track his beloveds soul across time, locating her in different ages and different incarnations only to lose her again and again. Their story is a breathtaking journey through history. Follow their heartbreak and pain in a rollercoaster ride through time, as the great lovers make history becoming part of the past and the future, creating myths and legends along the way as their tragic story unfolds.

Because I am a graphic designer and illustrator I took great joy in creating a book cover that would portray the shadow dancer as I saw him in my mind as I wrote, nakedly obscure in all his glory…
Then on reflection I created a second cover as I well understand that many (ladies especially) might prefer a more formal cover, So this book of mine is very unique in the fact that there is a cover choice the red unconventional one above or this more traditional one in blue!
Which ever book cover you choose the content is same, poetry written from my heart set into sections, themes that portray all about being me, my outlooks on life, from sadness to romance, horror and war, history and commemmoration, through to spiritual prayers and my social comments.
Heaven In A Verse
Wandering around cyberspace, searching for my lost heart
I couldn’t find it any place, I didn’t know where to start
I came upon some Poets, writing their hopes and fears
I asked where my heart was they said dry away your tears
They took me to their passion a site for words like theirs
All were shown compassion even sharing anger and tears
I met experienced teachers who’d suffered, known strife
Who'd known the evil creatures that tore apart a persons life
I saw people gathered as one I thought of the arena in
About God’s only son be calm he said, I’ll lead you home
Where people gather pen in hand He’s with them every night
And love is all that they demand because they’ve got it right
So thanks Pat and all for providing this digital pew
Where the oppressed can call to have a spiritual review.
