Spring Has Sprung

Sunshine gently touches earth
Pleasing and creating new birth
Rapidly shooting buds then bloom
Inspired to give off sweet perfume
Nature having passed winters test
Greatly seen at its very best

Happy all the birds sing with delight
After sleeping through the night
Softly rejoicing each daylight

Sheep with lambs now at play seen
Primroses growing on the green
Rabbits bob along the hedgerow
Unending showers gently flow
Nourishing and feeding all to
Greatly flourish with life anew!

Winter Wonderland

When the snow comes falling down
In the country and in the town
New joy is found by every kid
That runs outside to shovel and dig
Ecstatic at being able to play
Resting only at the end of the day

Wrestling, rolling in the snow
On sledges down the hill they go
Never stopping they at once go back
Dragging their sledges up the track
Endlessly till energies spent
Revelling in the merriment
Loving it when building together
A snowman to stand out in the weather
Neck wrapped with scarf to look neat
Dazzling with top hat to complete

The Glory of Autumn

When all of summer's fields

change colors you see
It's autumn's bright colors,

 making a scene
Painting the hills with

red and gold
An awesome picture for us

to behold

Flowers found in neighboring

yards too
Are all dressed up

in festive hue
And, please don't forget

the azure sky
Is far brighter than

 mid - July

And all the trees found

on every lane
Are wearing rainbow halos

once again
Farming fields

 and nearby meadows
Colored in harvest gold

that God bestowed

I thank the Lord in

praise and prayer
As I see autumn's

glory everywhere
This short lived season

is so grand
When autumn is found

throughout the land

Solstice Blessings

The heat has come and

the seeds are planted...
Awaiting the thrills

of the summer sun.
The bees buzzing;

butterflies granted
Early buds showing

raw colors for fun.

The Cycle of Seasons,

 the Wheel has turned
Singing the praises

of summer’s delight
Giving another lesson

what we learned
Evening’s onyx meant

for firefly light.

Warm summer sun,

harsh rains from the heat;
Storm thunders in

with lightening fury.
Summer heat thrills

and the Cycles repeat
The Wheel always turns;

cleansing rains hurry.

Cast the Circle on Solstice

 by the fires
Brightest Blessings

for your heart's desire.
