Stanley was born to a family of ranchers and farmers, the second of eight children of Stanley Layton Udall and Ardith Opal Williams. He grew up with a love of church, music, country, trees, birds, horses but not cows. The reality of youth was often harsh and cold, but life and hope called from over the next hill, beyond what was visible. Principle interests include music, religion, history and the lives of inspiring people. After High School came college at Arizona State University, He served as a missionary in Brazil, then he got married and had four children. Writing of poetry began at the age of thirty five, but really became earnest only at the age of about fifty two…

Now this book is the outcome of his work and it truly portrays his love of life and nature...And it is one that I his publisher is so happy to have been involved with...I can highly recommend it to all that love reading the flowing words of a Poet...
